Best vacation experience we've had - Visited in June

My wife and I had been in love with the idea of going to Greece for our Honeymoon. We have traveled to many places and had many good times but none as satisfying as sailing the Greek islands. We found this company online and emailed them along with a few others. Immediately the response time and questions were more satisfying from this company than the others. They answered our questions and generally gave us a good feeling about the upcoming trip. When we arrived they coordinated our travel to the vessel which was very helpful. The vessel was beautiful, clean, and stocked with snacks ready to go. We ran to the near by supermarket for some wine and other items. When we returned we met our skipper George who took us through the vessel and explained everything we needed to know making us feel safe. George then explained the current weather state and gave us the options of where we could go and what we could expect. We particularly liked this flexibility so we knew what we were in for and could choose our adventure. Initially we planned on going to the Cyclades Islands but on Georges good judgment (which was continually affirmed) we changed plans and went to the Saronic islands. Poros and Hydra were both nice but we loved Hydra and the cliff side café George had suggested. We never would have found it without his direction. Then another check with the weather and we decided to make the long sail over to the Cyclades. Paros was our favorite in the Cyclades and the whole trip by far. Thanks to George for suggesting it. We ate at several cafes (all good) and had one long nice dinner at Barbarossa which we highly suggest. The most difficult part was keeping my wife out of the small alley shops. The most entertaining part was watching the other charter boats try to dock with mild success. While we couldn't claim to do better if my wife and I were by ourselves we had George's seemingly effortless docking skill on our side allowing us to laugh. We continued to a couple more islands on our way back to Athens. Upon return our travel to our hotel was again coordinated to our delight. We were able to just walk off the boat, have a few farewell drinks the team while talking about our trip, and head off to our hotel. All in all the comfort of choosing where we went and when with the confidence of a local skipper allowed us to experience a wide range of island scenes and thankfully missing most of the tourist hoards. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation. Our only regret is we should have chartered 2 weeks instead of the 1.

Great family sailing experience in the Saronic gulf - Visited in November

For our first week-long, family sailing-experience in Greece, we had rented a smaller boat (Oceanic 37) from Yachtsailing.gr. with a skipper. As beginners, we were advised to sail in the Saronic gulf instead of the Cyclades, (which can be very windy), which turned out to be an excellent advice. We had a wonderful experience with the boat, the skipper, Panos, who was an excellent skipper and a very good person for us, and with everything concerning booking and arranging the trip. We would highly recommend this company and this trip for families, and we will surely go again.
