Impeccable Organisation - Visited in July

We chartered a 54 Oceanis from Athens and sailed up to Skiathos through Khalkis bridge which was a great experience and a good way up to the Sporades group of islands and back down via Skopelos, Skiros, Andros an Kea. from the outset the organisation of the charter company Yachtsailing.gr was outstanding. The boat had everything one would have on a private yacht plus, plus. We had a few technical questions in the two weeks but they were handled with great efficiency by the shore staff, Maria and Eugene who sent us texts by return thus ensuring a smooth and wonderful holiday. Simply said we are looking forward to our next holiday with them Nigel

To the Cyclades during the Meltemi winds
Three fifty something year old couples spent a week on the Inspiration, a Beneteau 54, with Captain George K. Our itinerary was Sounion, Syros, Serifos, Sifnos, Kythnos. We had to skip Kea because winds were predicted to be super strong so we spent our last night in Vouliagmeni Bay. Ferries and flights were cancelled those days. The boat has cosmetic wear and tear but performed just as it should when we encountered strong wind. We did a lot of motoring some days to keep on schedule and to get a dock space at the next port. There was still plenty of time for sailing. Our schedule most days was leave at 10 or so, sail 4-5hours, dock then spend the afternoon swimming or walking around the villages then dinner. A few days we had about an 8 hour sail to cover a long distance. George made our trip special. We were so lucky he was assigned to us. The captain is not only in charge of the sailing but also for activities advice, restaurant recommendations and safety officer. We did self catering because we liked simple breakfasts/brunch/lunch and didn’t want another person taking up space. There are grocery stores and bakeries at every stop. We ate dinner on shore most nights. George always had good suggestions where and what to eat. We were so happy how things went with yacht sailing.gr. Email communication was easy, so was making payments. Everyone we met were so nice and helpful, Eugene, Iounna, Alex to name a few. We hope to come back again and sail with them
