BEACHES WORTH VISITING

Pori (Koufonisia)

The longest beach in Ano Koufonisi with white sandy shore and emerald-green waters. There are a few nearby attractions and spots ideal for snorkeling such as "The Devil's Eye" cave, "Pisina", which is a natural rock formation and Gala beach, a truly magical spot with unique atmosphere.

Fanos Beach (Koufonisia)

This beach offers stunning clear water with fine sand, suitable for snorkelling and swimming to near small water caves. 

Ammos Beach (Koufonisia)

A tropical blend of blue and greens combined with fine white sand, this beach serves a unique view of the uninhabited island of Keros.

Tsigouri Beach (Schinoussa)

This secluded beach in Schinoussa is an unspoiled spot surrnounded by nature providing a serene escape.

Livadi Beach (Schinoussa)

Agios Georgios Beach (Iraklia)

This amazing beach is situated next to Iraklia port. It is ideal for families with shalow, calm, crystal clear waters.

Karvounolakos Beach (Iraklia)

A quite small, isolated beach surrounded by impressive, rock formations with colors ranging from green to copper and gold, another ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts.

Alimia Beach (Iraklia)

The bay of Alimia hosts two beautiful beaches located on the southwestern coast of the island. Both sandy and protected by the winds, with beautiful waters and breathtaking view. Close by is situated the wreckage of a German hydroplane that sank during world war II, only 9 meters underwater, definitely worth exploring!

Sites Worth Visiting

Glaronissi (Koufonisia)

An uninhabited island in the middle of Pano Koufonisia, Kato Koufonisia, and Keros. Its name (Glaros meaning seagull) derives from the hundreds of seagulls, who choose it for nesting and reproduction. When onboard our catamaran you will enjoy the pristine aquamarine waters, secluded bays, and sea caves scattered around this lovely little isle. Once anchored you can enjoy endless hours of privacy and relaxation.

The Church of Panagia Akathi (Schinoussa)

Built in true Cycladic style with whitewashed walls and a blue dome, this church is located in Schinoussa. Here you will find a precious icon of the Virgin Mary. The church hosts a large celebration every year on the 15th of August, where locals and others from the surrounding islands come together to celebrate.

Holy Cross Church (Donoussa)

A church following the traditional Cycladic architectural style, featuring a blue dome and a characteristic bell tower, is considered protector of Donoussa. Every year on September 14th, there is a celebration held including, apart from the religious ceremonies, a festival the evening before.

Agios Georgios Church (Iraklia)

The Orthodox Christian basilica is dedicated to Saint George, the patron saint of Iraklia, being the biggest church of the island. It celebrates annually on April 23rd and festivities are carried out by locals.
