A great week cruising the Saronic islands! - Visited July 2018 

We really loved this trip. We were two couples, no kids (at last!) and wanted a relaxed holiday. Eugene and Joanna were easy, efficient and friendly to deal with, from the first enquiry to the final hand back off the boat. We hired a 420 Lagoon catamaran - Fantasy - so we had loads of room. We are not experienced sailors, so we also hired a captain, Giorgos (George) Kypriotis, who was an absolute pleasure to travel with. 

We were new to that part of Greece, although we had some ideas about where we wanted to go. We felt that Giorgos really worked with us to make sure we got the maximum out of each day and each place we visited, whether it was suggesting a restaurant or an activity (e.g. on Spetses he told us that hiring e-bikes to ride round the 26km around the island was a great thing to do and he was right, we loved it and would not otherwise have done it). He is passionate about Greece and the islands and gave us the local knowledge that makes a place come alive.

The boat itself was great, new and also pretty stable in the sea. We spent 4 hours crossing between islands in 35 knot winds (our idea, not the captains) and it was fine, no one was sick. 

We will definitely use this company again and have recommended it to our friends

What a bliss !! - Visited October 2017

Since we have been hearing our friends who had the chance to do different routes with this company and the skipper George Maleas twice, we already had great expectations about the trip. We were a group of four friends, and rented a brand new catamaran Lagoon 420. Once we agreed upon the route with George's factual and professional recommendations, our journey began..needless to say the places we visited were divine ( especially nafplio and hydra) but the exprience itself was once in a life time and way beyond our expectations..from the bays we visited along the way, to the restaurants and attractions George suggessted were really amazing. 
We have a long winter ahead of us but knowing that we have something to look forward to for next summer will worth waiting :)

Week in Cyclades - Visited September 2017 

Thank you yachtsailing.gr for a wonderful week. Highly recommend Eugene, Joanna, and the entire staff. The website does an outstanding job of explaining the entire process and helped us plan the trip with ease. We visited Evia, Andros, Tinos, Syros, and Kea. A private charter is an outstanding way to see the Greek Isles. We made the decision to hire a hostess as well as a skipper. This made for a relaxing and easy trip. Every port has a unique and distinct feel. From our pickup at the airport till we stepped off our boat on Saturday morning the care and concern for our pleasure and ensuring a quality holiday was evident.

Wonderful chartered catamaran trip with YachtSailing! - Visited August 2017

YachtSailing.gr is a family company that owns and maintains its fleet of 21 boats. Eugene was incredibly thorough and helpful throughout multiple emails as we researched different boat and sail options for our trip of two families. We booked the Lagoon 420 “Fantasy,” which proved to be perfect for our families with 4 teenagers (ages 15, 13). We found the boat to be comfortable, spacious and in excellent condition. George was our capable captain who provided restaurant options and joined in our board games along the way. YachtSailing.gr not only provided us with a great boat and competent captain, but also provisioned the boat and helped arrange transportation to the marina from Athens. 

We had a fantastic trip to Kea and Kythnos (be sure to go to the Hora on both!) in the Cyclades before heading back to the Saronic (Poros, Hydra, Aegina) due to strong August winds. We ended up loving both sailing areas even though we started the trip thinking we were most interested in the Cyclades. 

Tip – if you have never sailed before, be sure you ask for your initial provisioning to include toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, dish soap, trash bags, beer, wine, a couple of light meals and lots of water. We didn’t get the second page of the list so did not request some of those necessities, which created a last-minute scramble and delayed our departure. Also, check the snorkel gear before you leave the dock – we didn’t have enough to go around for our group. We rented two SUPs (make sure the fins are correct), which provided hours of entertainment for kids and adults as we anchored in beautiful swim spots along the way. If you intend to use the dinghy for function or entertainment, make sure there is plenty of fuel before you leave so you don’t have to waste time on an island trying to find it. 

Other suggestions of what to bring: inflatables for swim spots, goggles, small microfiber towels (you only get one shower towel and hand towel from YachSailing.gr), eye shades (sun comes through sky lights very early), cards/board games.

Awesome, unforgettable family holiday!! - Visited July 2017

We were a family of three couples and two children aged 5 years and 22 months.
We requested George as our skipper after reading reviews and were not disappointed!
As our skipper, he had a diverse group to keep happy and had to be mindful of the two little ones who also needed time ashore as well.
We were a challenging group.
He was really great in recommending overnight stops and bay stops for swims and snorkeling. Our family loved every minute of this awesome holiday.
We chose George's advice not to do long distances because of the children. We did the Saronic islands and hopped from the islands to Peloponnese mainland, with a wonderful mix of little ports to very busy ones.
We loved every place for its own charm but our favorites were Hydra and Nafplio- where we hired a car and went site-seeing. 
George always recommended good tavernas and we really enjoyed his company.
George was eventually like one of the family and was really easy to get along with.
We loved that he made us dinner one night we had a free swing in a beautiful bay. 
The catamaran Fantasy that we hired was spacious enough for 8 of us and allowed for wonderful relaxing on the front decks.
Also well equipped with essentials.
We also requested safety nets for the children.
Although the boys were hoping for a bit more sailing, the wind was not right for this. 
Eugene and Maria were extremely helpful from our enquiries to the last day at the marina and were very obliging to keep our luggage for us so that we could enjoy it on the beach.
We thank Yachtsailing.gr and George for an unforgettable family holiday!
It was what families can only dream of.

Bravo Yachtsailing.gr! - Visited June 2017

We just returned from a 2 week trip out of Athens sailing the Cyclades and Saronic Islands aboard the 42 ft catamaran Fantasy. Working with Eugene and the staff was a pleasure. They were quick to respond to our many questions and accommodating to our needs and requests. We found it easy to provision at Alimos with free delivery from a local market. 
From the moment we stepped on the boat we felt at home. Fantasy was more than spacious for 2 couples and our captain. We especially enjoyed the cushioned lounge at the bow! We also enjoyed the spacious outdoor dining under the canopy. The kitchen was well equipped including 2 refrigerators and 1 freezer. The herb garden was a nice touch. 
Apo our Captain was way more than a captain! He was a fantastic tour guide and became a great friend. He never steered us wrong from the islands we visited to the food we experienced. We would recommend Apo and Yachtsailing.gr highly for your sailing vacation in Greece. Thank you. Efcharisto.

Greek islands with a yacht with professionals - Visited June 2017

We rented a yacht form Yachtsailing.gr for a family vacation of 7 days on the Greek Islands. Everything was well organized and we got exactly what we expected. Our yacht had 4 cabins with 4 en-suite bathrooms and the whole experience was just awesome. Our skipper, Apostolous, was extremely professional and he accompanied us to various restaurants to give valuable advice on what Greek food to eat. All in all this was an unforgettable trip and counts amongst the top vacations I have ever had in my life of 64 years.

Great trip in the Greek islands! - Visited in September

We spent 5 days in the Aegean and Saronic with George, our captain. From planning all the way in early winter though the actual vacation in July everything was seamless with Eugene. He was so responsive and quick, very informative and not pushy at all! Very knowledgable while always taking our needs and wish list into account.
We rented the Fantasy, Lagoon 420 for 5 days and visited 4 very different islands. It was a unique experience getting to see such varied island (Serifos, Kythnos, Poros and Hydra). For first time sailers we really felt involved in the planning and were able to make educated decisions each day on our course taking into account weather, beaches, etc.

The boat is spacious enough to hang out on the front and back decks all day, the inside area is a little tighter but we didn't need to spend any time inside. Each double room has its own electric toilet and shower. Boat is equipped with wifi and A/C, which sometimes didn't work but otherwise everything was great! Some glitches for first timers, make sure to ask what the boat provides vs what each guest should bring. 
I recommend stopping at each port for dinner and breakfast and then spending the day in the ocean or at various beaches.

The BEST Sailing Experience - Visited in June

We just came back from our vacation in Greece. We chartered the Lagoon 420 catamaran for a week for 4 adult and 2 teens. It was magic. Our itinerary: the Saronic Gulf- Poros, Erminoni, Hydra,Spetses, Methana and Epidaurus. We truly had a fantastic experience! Great service, great navigation, great skipper and also great cab drivers! The only regret: we stay 1 week only. Next time we' ll book for2 weeks. Thank you Eugene, Maria and all for making our vacation memorable.

Fantastic Sailing in Greece - Visited in August 

We were seven sailing for the first time in Greece for a week. We chartered a Lagoon 420 with George as the skipper. We had fantastic time through the Saronic Island.
Yachtsailing.gr team is great, very friendly, professional, helpful and all very well organized. Price was fine. the boat was great and well equipped. they booked all transfers for us from Athens, did the first shopping delivered on the boat the day of departure. We will definitely do it again next year and still with Yachtsailing.gr! we definitely strongly recommend them.

Outstanding Charter Experience! - Visited in July

I have chartered with several companies over the years and this outfit is top notch! Maria made the arrangements and took care of every detail; booking, provisions, skipper, etc. Vasileios was our captain for the week and he was impeccable. We sailed the Cyclades; he knew the islands, he arranged for taxis in each port, and he navigated the high winds and big seas with ease. We was a kind man, professional in every way, and experienced. We chartered the Fantasy Lagoon 420; a catamaran that was spacious, clean, and in excellent condition. The electronics, refrigeration, heads/showers, engine, generators, stove, and AC all worked perfectly without incident. We will return to Greece and use YachtSailing.gr again. You can be confident booking with them!

"Bucket List" trip for our whole family!!! - Visited in July

There were 6 of us on our catamaran including 2 teenagers. The boat was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The skipper, Appo, was amazing. He knew all the local places we should go that weren't so touristy. We climbed a volcano, snorkeled above ruins, swam in beautiful coves, rented ATVs and explored, ate the most amazing food, met friendly, gracious people, visited historic ancient sites, and more. It was the trip of a lifetime and Eugene and Maria were professional, kind and incredibly helpful.

Saronic islands and Peloponnesian coast! Trip of a life time! - Visited in july 

We departed Athens and sailed Poros, Hydra, Hermano, Spetses, Methana, Epidaurus! An incredible adventure with our great Capitan Appo and really beautiful 42’catamaran! This is really is a trip of a lifetime, the islands are extremely beautiful, the food in every port was really exceptional! Let’s see favorite things… jockeying for spots in Hydra(you’ll know why you hired a skipper, but way too fun to watch) swimming in perfect blue lagoons every day, hiking the volcano in Methana, diving on the sunken city, my nephew catching a nice Amber Jack, getting a dolphin escort, getting some really great sailing days in and meeting really warm and engaging people in every port and all over Athens! Would I do it again, yes heading back again next year!
